Hi, I'm Jeroen van Gorsel 👋

AI Engineer & Tech Enthusiast

About This Blog

Agentic AI systems like Claude Code and OpenClaw can now write entire software applications and reason their way through complex problems. Enthusiasts argue this is the beginning of the biggest technological revolution in history, yet critics still argue there are fundamental constraints that suggests these AI agents will reach a limit in terms of their complexity and reliability, and be fundamentally doomed to lose coherence as their tasks grow more complex.

Which view is right?

I started this blog a while ago to share my thoughts on the rapidly evolving AI landscape (mainly focssed around LLMs and Agentic Systems). And to share a series of longer posts where I will do my best to sumarise the stunning progress in AI development that we have seen over the past 3 years, what to expect in the near future, and what the ongoing research is focussed on.

Whether you're a fellow engineer, a researcher, or curious about AI, I hope you'll find it interesting.
